Leo Lee , CEO
Leo Lee, the current CEO of the Rising Bright Youth Project, is a Senior at Sunny Hills High School. Leo wishes to create positive changes to the community and support the education of children lacking resources through the organization’s projects. Through the involvement in RBY, he also wishes to meet new people and build bonds along the way. At school, Leo is a positive student that loves to attend school events and interact with his teachers and peers. He is also currently a part of the Sunny Hills High School tennis team. During his free time, Leo loves to play tennis, spend time with his friends, and listen to music. As the president and founder of RBY, Leo hopes to set forth an example and influence others to uplift the community in any way possible.

Ariel Ko
Ariel Ko, a member of Rising Bright Youth, is currently a Sophomore attending Cypress High School. Through her experience with Rising Bright Youth, her goal is to benefit and improve our community positively. She strives in a helpful environment and assists people in need. During her free time, she enjoys listening to music, reading, and playing volleyball. She makes great efforts to uplift the moods of the people around her while making them feel comfortable. She is an active member of the OC Bridges Club at her school which helps spread positivity around her school. She hopes that her involvement in RBY will have a meaningful impact in the future.
Timothy Kim , COO
Currently a sophomore, Teddy Ko is an active participant in RBY. He dedicates his time to sports and clubs at school, maintaining good positions in both. Some hobbies that he enjoys are reading books and eating good food. His favorite subjects are history and math, as he enjoys learning new concepts and topics within both. He can also be found constantly trying to improve himself and gain more knowledge about things. He tries to expose himself to new experiences and people that will help him grow and learn. Teddy also hopes to create new familiarities with incoming members of the club and inspire those around him.
Timothy Kim, a current member of the Rising Bright
Youth Project, attends Los Alamitos High School as a Junior. He strives to involve himself in a positive manner in society. His hopes – his efforts will have a beneficial impact on his community providing opportunities to people of all ages. Entering his third year of service in community organizations, he shows the magnitude of his commitment through participation in various organizations and events.
His compatible work ethic makes him a valuable asset in this program. Although he spends a considerable amount of time contributing to our cause, he also aspires to become a pilot. He enjoys learning about aviation and hanging out with his friends. In the days yet to come, we expect him to create meaningful relationships and differences in our society.

Chloe Chun
My name is Chloe Chun and
I am a freshman
at Los Alamitos High School.
I am a member of the
RBY project because I want to help others and learn to grow more comfortable stepping out of my comfort zone. Outside of school and studying, I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, playing video games, and doing taekwondo.

Ellen Lee
My name is Ellen, and I’m 13 years old. I’m in 8th grade at McAuliffe Middle School. I’m interested in pursuing a career in the medical field one day because I want to be able to help people and make a difference in their lives. I try to focus on doing well in school so I can work toward that goal. Outside of school, I enjoy listening to music and spending time with my friends. I like being the kind of person who helps others feel included and cared for. It’s important to me that the people I care about know they matter, and I do my best to create that kind of environment when we are toghther.

Ava Lee
My name is Ava Lee, I am a 7th grader at Robert C. Fisler school and also part of the Rising Bright Youth project. I enjoy playing games on my ipad and spending time with my dog, as well as interacting with my friends. I play volleyball as my sport and have been playing for 4 years now, and though I'm still pretty bad at it, I try to improve as I continue playing. I hope I can contribute to the RBY project as much as I can, since I don't know much of what's going on, I will try to help with stuff that I know how to do.

Theodore Ko , CFO

Aiden Kim
My name is Aiden, I am in 10th grade and go to Cypress High School. For fun I like to play sports like basketball soccer and swimming. I love animals and want to become a vet one day. If I ever had the opportunity to help with animals shelter, or anything with animals. I would love to help. I hope to help animals one day, like picking up plastic or rescuing animals. I like to help little children with their work and even though I may not be the best I try my best and help with what I can with. My favorite memory was the concert last year where all the performers were soooo good and talented. That was such an amazing time.
I would love for that opportunity to come again so that I can go and give it a shot too.

Ian Kim
My name is Ian Kim, and I am currently 13 years old. I attend 9th .grade Jr. High School
Fun hobbies I like to participate in are
gaming, biking with my friends, working out. I would love to become an officer, veterinarian, and much more. Therefore, not only am I volunteering to get hour points, it makes me proud and accomplished to see the kids smile and learn and have fun. As a rookie I have had an awesome time spending happy hours with the kids. As I stumbled upon this awesome opportunity it made me happy and used my time wisely.
Overall as I reflect back to the times everyone had fun made me want to participate in volunteering again!

Reina Chon
Reina Chon, a member of the Rising Bright Youth Project, is an 8th grader at Gordon H. Beatty Middle School. Reina aspires to become a lawyer in the future and use her voice to help people within her community. Through her involvement in RBY, she hopes to support children and families in need while also preparing for the future with others. At school, Reina is a dedicated and enthusiastic student who enjoys participating in events. She is part of her school debate team and has a strong passion for debating. In her free time, Reina loves to swim, listen to music, and spend time with friends. As part of RBY, she hopes to set an example and inspire others to contribute to the community in any way they can.

Eugene Ban , COO
My name is Eugene Ban and I am a Senior at Crean Lutheran High School. I am a current member of the Rising Bright Youth Project in the effort to benefit and improve our community positively. I strive in a helpful environment and assist people in need. During my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and going out to hang out with my friends. Recently, I have been focusing on my career and I am trying to improve my knowledge towards veterinary medicine. I hope to help the program by using my experience and learning from it. By contributing to the activities, I will be able to socialize more and gain confidence in the things I do. In the future, I hope to help my community by using what I learned in this program and sharing it with them.

Noelle Lee
My name is Noelle Lee and I’m a Sophomore and Los Alamitos High School. I am a member of the Bright Youth Project to better connect with other communities and to benefit ours. When I have time, I like to draw, hang out with my friends, and I also enjoy playing tennis. I want my time at RBYP to be beneficial to my future as well as play a role in how I act around others.

Amber Lee
My name is Amber Lee and I am a 8th grader at Robert C Fisler school. I am a part of a few organizations including the Rising Bright Youth project and want to make a positive impact on our community. I hope that my contributions can help the community flourish and become a great and supportive environment. In the future I would also like to help people by becoming an infectious disease doctor and expand my medical knowledge. I enjoy playing volleyball, project sekai, talking to my silly friends, and am currently trying to learn how to draw. I hope that my efforts can help create a wonderful collective group of people. :3

Kaylee Chon
My name is Kaylee and I am currently 12 years old. I'm in 7th grade at Gordon H. Beatty Middle School. I decided to join the Rising Bright Youth Project because I want to make a positive difference in my community and learn how to help others. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, crafting, and debating. Through this group, I hope to grow, meet new people, and make meaningful contributions while developing skills that will help me in the future.
